JOHNNY RAMOS, MBA

Mr. Ramos has had vitiligo for most of his life. Similar to others who have been diagnosed with this disease, he has endured personal struggles with accepting it physically, psychologically, and socially.

Over time, he came to accept this disease through strong support from friends and family. This support system helped him obtain the professional success and personal growth that he once thought unattainable because of his disease.

Mr. Ramos has chosen not to allow vitiligo to suppress his ambition, drive, or determination in achieving his personal and professional goals. Academically, he obtained an undergraduate degree with a double major in Accounting and Business Administration, and then continued his educational pursuits and earned an MBA with an emphasis in International Business. Professionally, his career has advanced from the level of Junior Accountant to a position of Controller. Currently, he is fully engaged as a Financial Consultant, providing expertise to various companies in the local area by contract. Additionally, he functions as an adjunct Accounting Instructor and serves as an active member of the Board of Directors at Lakeland College.

One of Mr. Ramos' personal objectives is providing motivation and guidance to others living with vitiligo. He seeks to increase the public's awareness and understanding of this disease and how it can affect individuals.
